Title: How much is a michelin C type worth?
Post by: Bob Purton on April 29, 2009, 11:09:13 pm
The world gone mad! £101 and climbing for a new old stock Michelin tyre as favoured by many for there schmitts. Whats all the fuss about? They are good tyres but were never original equipment on a schmitt anyway! How much did you sell yours for Blob?

Again the magic word in the advert appears to be Messerschmitt ,I'm sure if i advertised a box of toilet rolls that had been carried in a schmitt it would get a premium price.....

I wonder if a certain Mr Olds has anything to do with this?

Pity those catches are most likely destined for another tarts handbag!

For the sake of a pair of catches, it would be a trip to B & Q for me, total expenditure £1.01p & put the £99.99p towards another invalid carriage....  ;D

I think you boys may have to accept there's been a seismic shift in values of late and it's crept up with no-one noticing.

Tenuously connected is the Honda CZ100 monkeybike.

Look how much a rear wheel made..

So with the front..

We're talking 800 shekels..  Plus at least 100 to refurb/zinc them.

Just because a Michelin C is small then why should it's value be deemed cheap?  They are extinct and are the best KR tyre.  You won't get a decent KR for less than 12k these days anyway.

Just because a Peel is small......

Accept the new order.  Or mourn the past..

Perry, You missed out on the chance to quote Bob Dylan there, " Get out of the new one if you cant lend a hand, for the times they are a changin"   About the tyres, it is looking like a new replacement for the Michelin is emerging made by Hiedenaeu in Germany, trials are looking promising, stability is not as good as my Vredestiens but will last longer. It has a good traditional tread pattern as well.
