Dear Mike

What a rare little beast that is, and looking at the €75000 price tag a little out or our price range.

Still console yourself that you would never be able to drive it as you are too tall to get behind the wheel.

I would say it is a Microcar, and it is certainly unusul. It perhaps should be called a sports microcar, like the Suzuki Capuchino or the Daihatsu Copen.

It must be rare as I've only spotted these pictures of a 1938 version, it's certainly small though I agree Chris more minicar than micro.

As far as I know is there a second Siata Barchetta in the famous Schlumpf collection. I´m not shure if this is a microcar beacause there are very much (Italian) racing cars with small dimensions and they usually don´t belong to the microcarfield. Its always hard to define the microcar but I think that it should be a normal (not a racing) car.

I´ll search the article about the Siata of the Schlumpf brothers and post pictures.
