It seems a Polish company with experience of electric conversions is starting production of the Swiss Sam Cree electric three-wheeler:

60,200 zloty is £13,200 / €14,600 / $21,900 at today's exchange rate so it's not cheap for a 60 mile range on lead acid batteries, but then small volume production never is cheap.
