Love the British Leyand lights! Funny how a quick paint blow over makes one of these worth 16K. Never the less a good project for someone at the right price.

Really? I missed that. Well he may struggle there then.

There was a television commercial in the US a few years ago about investing that had a room full of people at an auction and bidding was quick on a painting. It sells to a gentleman in the 3rd row.
Then the auctioneer begins to announce the next item on the list and is interrupted by the man who was just the high bidder on the painting.
"Excuse me" says the high bidder
"Yes, what is it?" says the auctioneer
"I would like to sell my painting now" says the high bidder.
Everyone in the room just rolls their eyes.
I could not find a completed listing for this KR200 either bought by this current seller or any KR200 sold on UK eBay in the last 2 weeks for £6000. (?)
What am I missing here?

Just as well, otherwise you'd have 2 Schmitts with no where to put them ;D

I bought a rear cowl for my smitt off this guy last week. He will take less than what it is up for as he got a load of spares with the car and has made a fast buck or 2 from selling them.Is a great car for a light resto as it is rot free and even has the genuine floor still(no holes) :o
I think he said he would take 7k or round that for it.not a bad price considering what scabby one are up for :)
