Why did the journo forget to inform us that KRs are made out of aircraft cockpits and that they cannot reverse? I thought it was every hack's sworn duty to repeat the myths.

Well that to me looks suspiciously like a KR 200, not a KR 175 as described in the article posted by Rusty Chrome. Obviously journalists take great pains to be as inaccurate as possible, so my faith in journalistic incompetence and mediocrity has been restored! My big project had a page feature in the Guardian G2 a few weeks ago. Despite the scribe being given a fact sheet he managed to get almost every fact completely wrong, even calling the Lake District Yorkshire. It was onc Cumberland, then was re-named Cumbria, but has never been part of Yorkshire. Still, at least AndrewG's article mentions that the £10 million pound racing car had gear problems while the 'schmitt worked well!

Lewis did not look or react with any great enthusiasm to the Schmitt so I am not sure sales will bloom.
Reporters should have two skills. Listening well and writing English (not modern or none English but the real thing). It would seem many fail on both counts and most on one. Then look at the schooling and it is no suprise really is it?
Perhaps the reporter was a Yorkshireman. I am sure Yorkshire would like to own Cumbria as it is crinklier than the Dales and is populated by upper class cuddly animals, kids sailing dingies and saving sheep and poets being wet rather than dower farmers telling you to 'Get off my land'! My cunning plan is to drive a Messerschmitt dressed as Mrs Tiggywinkle quoting Wordsworth. It has to be a winner!

Unless you like a ride on the bumpstops.. I was going to say a hard ride but a KR is no DS at that best of times... So the one in the pic must be like being on a plank.
At least twat media types have not adopted Micros like the Citroen. Yet...
I can see it now, a gaggle of inaccurate replicas weaving through Islington and Camberwell.

or the owner adjusted the camber so the wheels were "straight" when the vehicle sits empty.
I see this all the time, people don't understand that when not under load the front wheels are supposed to "tuck in" a bit. 3 degrees to be precise.
