So Stuart is it a conveyance ? I like it from the front but that's about it.

Stuart will be able to answer this better than I. But I have just finished the 2011 Invalid Carriage Register Calendar, and the vehicle for June is a circa 1950 Meyra. :) So I would say, yes it is an IC, and a great looking one as well. Ian.

I was thinking of selling my Meyra. They are best known for their invalid carrages and wheel chairs I think.

I didn't know that you had a Meyra, Alan. Talk to me. Ian.

That's me, man of mystery. Sometimes even I do not know what I have got! I thought you saw the Meyra. I will send picks when I have dug it out and waved an oily rag at it as it looks crap at the moment.

So Al, is yours the type with the bulging wing/headlight/wheel arch design, or the more basic one which few peopl know about? From memory it has a half-width a front-opening door and it fairly boxy with a flat front end vaguely reminiscent of a VW splittie camper van.

None of the above. It is single seat and very early joystick driven. It features Schmittbits, which was one reason for buying it. A touch of Davros from generation of the Darlecks. The double door job is a very rare machine that a collector would not sell but keep in a shed secretly unless he had a museum I would suspect.

Yep, it is indeed. Now hands up all those who would have liked it if only I had said it was not one.....
