So that Lloyd 650 of Grimsby, advertised on ebay last autumn, has now resurfaced in Germany. Should I go for it, or is it too much hassle? I'm sure it'll go somewhat higher than the currebt EUR 1. :D

Yes you should as it's an English Lloyd! But I wonder how genuine the reserve is, or a way to gauge it's worth so as not to overspend on the restoration, as it's no trouble for him to restore.

This car was listed on eBay in November 2009. I believe it was sold privately though. The whole front end has been re-styled with a different radiator and fared in lights giving it more of a Morgan look.
If anyone does buy it, I could probably help out with literature, photos etc and I have one in better coindition that could provide any measurements needed.
There are a few on the Register but they are scarce and worth saving. I keep telling myself that although I haven't got round to restoring mine, at least I'm keeping it safe!!!

A beautiful example turned up at Jeans 2009 open day, they're great but if didn't know better you wouldn't think it was considered a microcar, until heard it running.
