Looks like a homemade car to me. Apparently based on an AWS Goggo. Commonly called AWS Shopper. Am i right or wrong mates ? What do you think about ?

I just checked with Uwe Staufenberg-- he says the description is accurate, though he admits he's not sure whether the factory constructed the body on a new chassis or a used, repurposed one. He also describes it as "the most ugly thing I have ever seen here on earth."

The AWS Piccola lines are there already to become the Shopper. I never thought I would say that this car makes a Shopper look nice! If the shell is steel and the engine 250 it will be great for racing slugs up hill. Lloyd had an absolute stack of stuff and of course were behind the fitting of Goggo engines to Fiat 126, NSU Prinz and so on for those who could continue to use the 250cc license (Bit like our trike license) but had no Goggo as BMW wanted to kill them off. So Lloyd sort of had an odds and ends business that did not really stand on its own as BMW were not interested really and the idea of producing a car to use the bits and niche market available must have appealed. While a car was in production there was a reason to continue doing the rest of the business.
