Indeed was a fine laugh and great weather. Nice to see the German posse again after two weeks.
The author is too modest to mention that his KR200 kabriolett won best car of show.
Well done!

wonderful sight !!
it almost makes me wish i had kept my schmitt - almost but not quite ;)

This just makes me more depressed. I knew it was going to be good. B****y family placed a massive spanner in the works, probably deliberately as this was the big date of the year and I had the car prepped. Anyone know a good inheritance law Solicitor? Looks like I shall be needing one.
Hopefully this Rally will add to the Scots and other less central places to prove that out of central events can be great, not least because the countryside is spectacular.

On behalf of the organising team a big thank you to all who made the long journey to Maryport. The support we received was brilliant and truly appreciated. The weather, scenery and most of all the enthusiasts made it a long weekend to remember. Some further pics from Honister pass, 25% up and 25% down !. Challenging for Tg drivers and simply scary for us KR drivers who were hot on their tails up over and down. Down was intersting as the brakes simply faded away to nothing.

Not quite sure what was going on here. Some sort of Tiger mafia ritual I suspect

I think Malcolm Thomas is the owner.

Ah! I used to see a 200 in that sort of colour near Wandsworth Bridge Road when I lived in Fulham many years ago, I think its owner was called Neville.
