Title: Lambretta Lambro
Post by: Rusty Chrome (Malcolm Parker) on July 22, 2011, 03:25:50 am
Came across this pic in something entirely unrelated on the net. Anyone know anything more? The article says it was photographed at Le Mans in 1979

I have not heard of it, like the Bond style steering.

Hi,

I cant find any info on it, but is it maybe the real Lambro prototype? The normal Lambro looks just like a Vespa Ape.

I have edited the photo, so you see more of the car. (Thanks Photoshop!)

It's a BMA Brio, as made in italy from about 1979-1984 & imported to France by the Lambretta/Willam concern.  ;)  Denis de Sosa has a few nice pics on his site and here is the link, first in English:

 And then in original French....

Amazing, I didn't recognise it in it's convertable form. Is it just co-incidence that it looks like it's made from plastic building blocks, or is it related to the Brio toy company?
