Title: original type mopetta indicator
Post by: richard on November 06, 2011, 12:41:34 pm
this has been on for ages -perhaps not surprising at the price ! but these indicators are rare in this condition .can an equally good  match be found for the left  side ? i am always surprised that mopetta owners are happy to fit the later type to there cars.
luckily i have a couple of pairs of pretty good ones for my bruetsch projects .

by the way can't read a word of the ad - there not making repro's of these are they ?

I actually broke on of them once, luckily it was briken in the first place! My Nobel Hub fell on it...

We have a few spare, but quite faded... The ones in the nad look repro, but could be NOS.

Used to be an easy find at Mannhiem. I to might have a few spare lenses. Only one machine left that uses these so have to keep my set.

That is not the correct indicator for the Mopetta.
The correct ones are marked SWF, not Hella.
Clear to see the difference in this period shot;  https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=178438308907777&set=a.102282469856695.4453.100002248263013&type=3
Andy got some from the Mannheim veterama last month.

I seen 'em, I seen 'em. Normally about at Mannheim but I do not have any as no requirement here.

mmmm see your point . most of the original brochures i had seen show the one advertised , so as with all things Bruetsch  :) nothing is as simple as it could be . either way i have never seen original brochures with the later Hella usually fitted . it doesn't mean they werent i suppose

this type , subject of topic ,  were fitted to Bruetsch Zwerg 2 seater , Bruetsch Pfeil and Bruetsch Bussard and at least some Mopettas then  :-\

What, is it tattooed on your nose? Do you have a false ID on the other profile, your bad side? I like it. Bar code everyone's nose and then use that as an ID. Have to stick your nose in all sorts to get things done, including the local bumbago club, keeping it anonymous. Trouble is the Government could charge for a snog then. On reflection your being silly Richard.

the local bumbago club,

Genuine Peel cutlery is for polite society only. It parts off the peel and the fruit knife clears the segments neatly. Of course there are replica sets about but they have not the dignity and poise of the original, allegedly.

The Pizza cutter? I just like the way the legs run round as you cut. Indeed there is a missed marketing opportunity there. Manx wheel trims for trikes.

Do you agree that is ironic that the last British country to stop beating criminals should have a cat with no tail rather than nine?
