...and a 4 wheel Isetta at 0.38. VW beetles and splittie vans too in this old German ad:

How strange that there are so many Deeks in a DKW advert street scene. More than were at the last British Two Stroke Rally! About the same number of Micros in the film as well as no one bothered turning up. So you'll not have the chance next year as we are not organising it! Be doing a something else with chums instead. Simples.

Yup, quite a lot of Deeks carefully placed to look random.
A few DKW/AU/NSU 1000/Sonderklasse (and all the other names it goes by) in there too: particularly pretty cars. From 2-6 years old we lived in Montevideo, Uruguay, and they were fairly common there. They were one of the very first cars whose styling made me notice the difference between pretty and ugly cars. Those beautiful flowing curves, sort of like a Morris Minor on elegance pills, and that "Wrap-Around" rear window is so nice, and the thing that first made me aware of styling.

This one does not have the saloon's lovely rear window, but still gorgeous:

do agree - lovely cars . i adore the borgward isabellas , the stand at NEC is great . they look a bit like scaled up Kharmann Ghias - or the other way round is it ? back to DKW's i hate to mention it but egon bruetsch raided their parts bin too . he took those lovely teardrop rear lightsoff the sonderklasse  turned them on their sides and used them on the rear of Zwerg, Bussard a Pfeil cars - they are possibly the most stylish rearlights of the period i think
