Title: peel trident headlights - what type ?
Post by: richard on November 21, 2011, 04:43:40 pm: seing as scootacar back lights were so confusing ;) what are the trident headlights ? make , size other uses etc ?

Perhaps no one knows. Peels are old news these days anyway, Scootacars are the big thing from now on.
Try the Peel Register in Rumcar News as he must know. Got a Trident to restore ?

Post by: Rob Dobie on November 22, 2011, 07:05:08 pm: Are they not Wipac 5 3/4" as were fitted to P50's. That's what mine had in '76. Bought from the makers. They fitted tractors as well. Early BSA Bantam ones fit also.

Could the bowls be the same as a Scootacar Mk I?

Post by: Big Al on November 23, 2011, 10:20:17 am: Scootacar head lamp bowls are now worth £50 each after that auction sale. Not that we are to know what they are off either I expect. Nothing like clubbing together for mutual help is there? I see there is a rather nice Saab for sale.........
