Title: Girling/Armstrong identification and conversion list
Post by: richard on February 04, 2012, 01:48:19 pm
cold and wintery hear - snow around . sitting with a coffee i am glancing through this 125 page booklet from 1965
it list a lot of vehicles and the units used including trailers, sidecars commercials and some mopeds and scooters, from trojan, isetta messerschmitt etc through to commer vans and  motorcycles . amongst the commoner types there are owners clubs and info .
if you do have a rarer vehicle and need to know the part number - and crucially what else thet were fitted to . you could try me . LLoyd, gutbrod, goliath, tippen, pashley trike ,electricars etc.

i did try Gordon, tourette etc. but no entry if you knew the girling number i could tell you the common usage though .
