Title: Attica
Post by: wilksie on March 05, 2012, 03:15:06 pm
Fancy a trip to Greece? Pick up an Attica / Alta / Fuldamobil on the way. Interesting, the Heinkel engine.

I love it when these variants pop up, at least they had the sense to fill the door with a vinyl panel as opposed to the good old Nobel way.  ;D Slight difference with the lock too.

Yep! I will probably do that on my car!

You surprise me Jonathan, I would have expected you to restore yours as per original. By the way I only noticed earlier today that there is a forum on your Nobel site. I joined it.

Hi Bob,

Well, the forum is quite crappy, and completely inactive, but still good if you need pieces, you may get a reply within a month ;)

I like restoring as original, but I also like practicality. If I put any electric device in the door (kids these days!) it woukld probably scratch the scfreen, so I'll get a door cover.

Hello Bob,
Please put me down for the Nobel pedal cover. My car came without one, so I've nicked Jonathan's in the mean time. Regarding the rear engine mounting tube, the three wheeler tube has the engine plates in a different position.           Nick.

The Attica, the only Fulda to be able to be a campervan by having planning permission for a dorma conversion, Velux sunroof optional.

There now follows a rush to Greece to get the next trendiest campervan for microcar rallies. So much better than Zundapp's folding Maisonette option.

I now return you to sensible comments about Nobels and stuff.

Ok Nick, just let me know when you are coming over. Re the engine mount tube, can you not just move the position of the plates on your old three wheeler tube?

Forgot to say about the engine.

Most atticas seem to have had a Heinkel engine. I think it was only the first few that had Sachs engines.

Also, there is a Nobel with a Heinkel engine, but was probably modified.

Cant beat the good old Sachs engine!

Hello Bob,
I could alter my engine mounting plates, but I want to keep that as it is. Among my spares I have a complete 4 wheelser chaincase & drive and thought I might build up the 4 wheel back end in case I decide to change it over at somestage.  We are over at Easter and would be great if we could meet up.                     Nick.
