Look like some sort of kickstart tools. Probably not from a micro.

Is that a stone on the central shaft?  Does the outer shell move separately?

I'm leading up to asking if they are valve seat regrinding tools for very small valves.  Though what the outer shell with the dog gear is doing, I've no idea.

Then again, they could be spurgetting tools.  Now does anyone know what spurgetting is?

I think they're more general than valve seat regrinding tools but along the same lines, they look like they're probably some kind of internal burnishing tool. Presuming the internal part rotates seperately from the outer. The outer being a guide piece to allow you to line up accurately. Either that or off-sided spurgetting modules for broaching willets.  :)

Dear Richard

It is difficult to get a feel for what sixe they are in the photograph, They could be huge or small. But I think they are for grinding out spot welds.

The central pin is located in the centre of the spot weld and the out cutting piece rotates and cuts through the spot weld

I am probably totally off beam.
