Hi

Yes I have already asked for more info, and also if they know where to get any parts.

Looks better knick than mine.

Shame it's so far down into France though.

Yes I had noticed the price as well, almost tempted to do the 1,000 mile round trip.

I know the feeling!! I liked the look of the Frisky a while back, but it would have been 1600 miles in a hired truck and they're not designed to be driven that far.

Was that the Frisky that was stripped back to a rolling shell ?

I also sent an email to the seller.
Wanted to know where it is in France, but never got a reply.
Its a nice prize anyway. Does someone got more information about the car? Running/not running?

Cheers

Hi

I have had no response to email I sent a couple of days ago.

The aprox area is around, Limoges, (which is about 450 miles from Dover, ish !!!)

The condition looks very good, shiny chrome work and bright gel coat

As it's her first sale on Ebay, mayby she isn't looking at her emails very often.

I emailed in Babelfish translated to French, so she may be ignoring foreign emails as she thinks we all talk gibberish.

Would be a more viable proposition if we could find 2 or 3 cars to pick up at the same time.

If anyone else is going that way we could share expenses. ?????????????

Will advise if I get any more info. before anyone else.

Hi

Just had an email to say the car has already been sold.

Not suprised, as looked far too good for 200 Euros.

Hi John, oh well there goes another bargin!! by the way the Frisky mentioned was the one striped to a rolling shell, unfortunatly the windscreen was missing and they're seriously hard to find.

Frisky screens are available from stock at several Reliant dealers - I bought one last month for £220

Hi Trident, I'd be interested in any retailers contact details you may have? I knew they were Reliant Sabre but haven't tracked one down yet.

(The 1st item is for sale for 1p, so it may only be an engine, or even a spares car!! couldn't quite translate the text)

Hi

Iv'e been watching this one as well.

The seller says he has no idea when the engine was last running, but it is not seized up.

He thinks most of the parts are all there though.

I may bid near to the finish time if it's still reasonable.

May be better waiting for a mint one to come up and pay a bit more for it though.

Hi

Decided I'm not going to bid on this one as I realy should get at least 1 car up and roadworthy first.

Unless a mint example comes up first, then it might be easier to get an A1 example and carry on doing up my other one as well.

Would like to get an example of each model eventualy if poss.

Hi
i don't think its an honestly offer. I sent 3 emails with some questions, because i would like to buy the car. Never got an answer.
Although its a real bargain im not interested no more, coz i do not trust the seller now.
Cheers

Hi

I got replies to all of my emails, not very quickly, but they probably arn't saddos like us who scan ebay and sit at the computer every spare minute.

I don't know if the Mini Comtesse is worth more than the Super comtesse, but the price of this one now makes mine look like an absolute bargain, I paid 213 euros including a spare moped engine, carb, exhaust and some new cables.

I know values are worth what someone will pay on the day, but it would be nice if there was a rough guideline somewhere. I guess it's down to experience and luck.

Im not spending every spare minute on the computer mate! Thought it would be polite to get an answer after five days or more, isn't  it.
Cheers  ??? ???
