I was very suprised to happen across this article today, not a version that I've ever heard any mention of before.

Argocat/Crayford, Amphicat (Banana Splits), Penguin etc. All similar designs from a period when many differing companies attempted to fill a niche market. Some research might yield that this is a license of one of those constructors as quite a few had VW engines.
