If you want to build yourself a teardrop to go behind your (larger) microcar, I seem to have become the resident designer to an American teardrop forum and I've got a web page full of designs you can download:

The lightest of them, the Superleggera, is 175kg, so reasonable for a three-wheeler.  Well, better than this Weferlinger:
