Velocar. Mochet. It's all the same company, the vehicles being sold as Velocar in the 1920s & '30s before becoming Mochet in 1948, and this one looks like a fairly late (1947?) Velocar Type H a moteur.

Yes, you are all correct its a velocar , product of the company of the great Charles Mochet, dont know which year, the owners are Roland and Martine Duret from across the channel. Stuart wants a good clip round the ear for being too darned clever!

Hi Dan. The fact that you got it before Stuart your friend and rival should be reward enough!

Hi Bobbybubble

Good old Stuart, the man, the legend.  He always comes up with the answers and puts us
to shame!

The Qpod is wrapped up for the winter, neeeds a rear wheel bearing and possibly a gearbox
oil change as it's a bit noisy.  Other than that, we're looking forward to dragging it round France
behind the Sherpa this summer.

Latest toy will appeal to Triporteur - a Zongshen delivery tricycle with a 97cc Honda-type engine.
Photo to follow when I've taken one small enough to load it on the Forum.

Regards
Nick D.

Funnily enough, i received an email the other day with these fotos of Roland and Martine.

I think they replied to the xmas email from one of my friends in France (Jean-do) and by mistake sent their email to everyone on his (extensive) email list.

I assume that's how you got this picture Bob?

Is that the zongshen that was on ebay recently Nick?
