Mochet? Don't know the owner though.

I'm looking for the full name of car and owner. Nick, as you failed to answer the question fully I will have to search your vehicle and confiscate all your french plonk! Hee Hee! Nick, how are you getting on with your Qpod?
-
i believe it to be a velocar? i did a little researching into them a few yrs ago as i would like one very much!
-
YOU CAN LAUGH BUT I HAVE GOT TO PEDEL DOWN TO THE SHOPS IN THIS ! AND IN THESE BOOTS!
-
Im 100% sure its a velocar! Sorry don't know the nice woman( owner ) beside the car.
Anyway, who knows a velocar for sale???
-
Velocar. Mochet. It's all the same company, the vehicles being sold as Velocar in the 1920s & '30s before becoming Mochet in 1948, and this one looks like a fairly late (1947?) Velocar Type H a moteur.
-
Yes, you are all correct its a velocar , product of the company of the great Charles Mochet, dont know which year, the owners are Roland and Martine Duret from across the channel. Stuart wants a good clip round the ear for being too darned clever!
-
And i need a prize for being the first to say it was a velocar!? ;D
-
Hi Dan. The fact that you got it before Stuart your friend and rival should be reward enough!
-
True,it can be a hard one getting in before Stuart(Stuart might find that funny!)he seems to spend all his free time finding out about absolutely every form of micro!
-
Hi Bobbybubble
Good old Stuart, the man, the legend. He always comes up with the answers and puts us
to shame!
The Qpod is wrapped up for the winter, neeeds a rear wheel bearing and possibly a gearbox
oil change as it's a bit noisy. Other than that, we're looking forward to dragging it round France
behind the Sherpa this summer.
Latest toy will appeal to Triporteur - a Zongshen delivery tricycle with a 97cc Honda-type engine.
Photo to follow when I've taken one small enough to load it on the Forum.
Regards
Nick D.

Funnily enough, i received an email the other day with these fotos of Roland and Martine.
I think they replied to the xmas email from one of my friends in France (Jean-do) and by mistake sent their email to everyone on his (extensive) email list.
I assume that's how you got this picture Bob?
Is that the zongshen that was on ebay recently Nick?
-
Yes thats how I got it along with a host of other cards from French enthusiasts, can think how they all got my email, I dont know half of them! Must be the Inter Torpedo connection.
