Title: Bamby info ?
Post by: CompoSimmonite on June 16, 2009, 12:56:39 PM
The Bamby fits in with my design idea for a homebuild microcar.
I'm disabled so have certain requirements (decent access, need reverse gear, etc) that means an original Bamby probably wouldn't be suitable for me even if I managed to find one for sale.
I'd like, however, to learn more about the Bamby but there doesen't seem to be much available.
Anyone a link to an owners web site ?
I believe RUMCAR NEWS covered the Bamby in issue 36. Anyone have a scanned copy of the article they could send me ?

Thanks.

Paul H.

Moving this topic over into my field a little.  ;D  Has anyone got any good all-round photos of the Black Bamby A834 NKH, as sold by Alan Hitchcock in 1999.  Also, what colour was the car shown at the Ideal Homes Exhibition of 1984?

You can probibly guess the reason for these questions. Yep, I'm now setting my mind to producing (hopefully) the definative Bamby article, updating & expanding on the article done by Bob Cotton in 1993 now that more details, facts & figures are known....
