Hi. I was invited today to a proposed low key microcar gathering at the Pitsea boat museum, Essex, earmarked for either August 16th or 23rd and was told to mention it to others. If you fancy a drive out in your microcar to this interesting museum then watch this space for an update.

The Pitsea Boat Museum micro meet is fixed for August 16th and we aim to be there for about 11.00 Why not come out for a run in your micro if possible or just join us without a microcar. Here is the link for the museum. http://www.motorboatmuseum.org.uk/visitor/index.php

I "might" be able to make this one, sounds interesting

It would be great if you could Marcus, its a straight run down the A13 from where you are. You could join our little convoy at an appropriate point. Let me know.

The Fezheads leave August blank to allow for everyone's hols, so I might be on, but also have a lot of catching up to do with family and friends, but will see what I can do! Funny, I do not go to Essex often, most often I go West, South or far oop North

I have been told that the Bond boys wanted to visit this museum because they have a Bond product there, an early form of jetski? Sounds worth a look.

It now looks like the family is having a get together for my Dad's birthday near Southampton

A very nice morning was spent at the Pitsea motorboat museum today and was attended by twelve enthusiasts and there cars. Cars included a Panard, two Bonds, Berkeley, Kr200, and a Reliant Ant. We got to see the famous Bond Power ski of 1961. I have attached some pix for the edification of other Bond fans. Thanks to Adrian Polley for organising the run out.
