Title: Inter with registration 3138 GE 75
Post by: messerschmitt on September 15, 2009, 04:31:08 PM
I have acquired two photos taken I assume in Paris of this Inter. Does anyone know if it has survived? If so, copies of the photos to the owner!

It's a sunroof model in two tone with a dent front and aft - so typical Parisian parking then!

Bob, it is light and dark grey!  ;)

I can't upload pics here and I'm not joining 'piccie pail' just to do it.

Is that bad? Or am I just lazy? Or am I a member of too many forums that let me load piccies up?

E-mails will be answered with a 5mb file!

the attachments section of this forum is borked.
if you email me the pics, I can reduce them and post them in a much smaller size than the original

Hi Campbell. Many thanks for sharing your pictures with us. I see what you mean about grey and grey. Monochrome of course! I don't know the car, its probably not a survivor but I will make enquiries. Its a later one because on the shape of its nose, the top of the headlight rim being lower down , the early ones are almost flush with the top nose surface. I notice it has a couple or antennas to give the driver indication of the width of front fenders, something I have often felt that I need on mine.  Love the luggage rack. I really like it, battle scares and all. The little wing-lets or axle covers look like they are ready to drop off, no wonder they kept changing the design! It shows that they were capable of everyday use despite the dodgy gyrostarter! Thanks again. Would you object to the pics being on the Inter blog for a short while, with credits of course? This way if the car has survived the owner will spot it. I will understand completely if you would rather not.    Bob http://intermicrocar.blogspot.com/

Wot!! 15 years and still not repaired? :D :D :D Speaking of which, I notice that the pictured Inter has a bar attached to the front, as the headlamp/nose protrudes out further than this rail I assume it was meant for pulling the car in and out of its garage, the question is, was it factory fitted. My first inter had bars front and aft when I first got it but it looked like someone has been towing the car with it and the bodywork was torn as a result. As I'm always saying ,no two Inters are the same!
