Dear Friends
Jean Do had just announced the dates for the next Bubble Car and Scooter rally in Burgundy ( last one was in 2008) and will be held on 28-29 August 1010.
Looking at the dates for other rallies that are on at about the same time this looks to be a busy period for Microcar shows, Still it does give you the choice of UK, France or USA for that weekend away.
The last one was very well organised and well worth going. However I am planning to go to the USA to the World Microcar Convention and Car rally, so will miss this event.
I do hope somebody from the UK attends.

on saturday , journey threw the Morvan, the celtic's country , private collection visit, beautiful flowered castle's park , ...at the evening, "bubblecars& scooters ' night " ! many attractions : 55 years after, the cyclist that participate to the scooters night in paris ; "why-why" blues music, old lambretta advert video , miss BSB 2010 election ( ask your wife to wear 50-60's clothes !) then "yeltis celtic traditional music ...till the end of the night
sunday : swap meet , professional village with specialists and workshops decicated to Bubblecars & scooters " , 200m2 special display with rare bubblecars, trikes and scooters ; richard's 60's gas station , elegance contest, biscooter voisin bubblecars star of 2010 with may be 10 /23 prototypes , best of show .......
don't hesitate to be with the 100 lucky guys !!
next wil be in 2012 ...

Ah, no worries. I'll do my part for small French cars at the World Meet with my KV anyway.
I see from your website that your other automotive interests include pinstriping and hotrods. If I'm not completely exhausted at the end of the drive back to Seattle from Chicago, I'll then drive my '37 Plymouth P4 to the drag races in southern Washington on the weekend of 28-29 August (run by Alan Galbraith, the guy responsible for the Concours d'LeMons):

Only as a spectator, however. The drags have all sorts of rules about the presence of seat belts and the absence of fluid leaks, whereas my Plymouth is stock....

you really missed some good time and rare cars !!
in fact all prototypes of biscooter voisin were here !! two seats ( with n°001 ) three seats, four seats , very rare and unique light duty truck, "the postman's biscooter ( le biscooter du facteur) and an spanish version, driven by Ramon and Eloisa Pradas, biscuter specialist in the "classic motor club del bages" in spain !

busy as a team manager ( ask chris !!) i didn't took any pictures ! ...the journey was excellent, with tractor's collection visit , we now have our miss BSB 2010 !nice Lil'l Magali ...

Thank you for the link to Ramon's photos. The display of Biscooters was spectacular. Since seeing Biscooters in the metal I now appreciate them much more and wish I could have seen the full range, including the prototype and the utility vehicle. I would like to see more of the rally and all the other cars and scooters, so if there are any other photo collections we can see please let us have a link.
With all the rallys on this summer I managed to miss them all. Now I must wait 2 more years.

Some very interesting looking machines - particulalry liked no 18 (threewheeler) and no 32 (6 wheel pickup) in the Part 2 album. Do you have any further info on these?

hi chris , don't be thrilled by FB !!! you put just what you do want ot show !! nothing more !
making diaporama on FB is quite easyest than other places like forums or blogs ; on FB you can send quite 50 pictures each time ! you can't find nowhere else better ! about BSB, just 250 pictures on FB ! in 15 minutes !
please dont be afraid to register and come to see all of them !

for rusty chrome ; 18 : prototype from ingeneer henri Lanoy , front "aubier-dunne" 125 cc engine . two tandem seats , but as you can see further ,not really easy to come in !!!!!may be the reason of " prototype " !!
32 is the prototype ( again ) only one built too , from ingeneer Gabriel Voisin , airplane pioneer , with idea of light duty truck ... 200 cc "gnome rhone" engine all aluminuim and wood for chassis , like all its biscooters . was on display for the first time since its creation !
