Italian designer proposes using lightweight, inflatable, rigid structures - like the emergency slides on aircraft - for microcar exterior.

Haha good one! Somehow reminds me of the Fend Flitzer with the inflatable roof.

Hard to beat a horse drawn Zeppelin but this is a lot smaller. With modern organic film technology inflatables might well be set for something of a return.

One has to wonder how many pedestrians would get killed by drivers who thought they would 'bounce off harmlessly'?
