Title: Villiers parts neded.
Post by: NickPoll on January 23, 2013, 04:01:12 PM
Hello, I need a fan and upper cowling for a fan cooled Villiers 9e engine. The fan from a twin is fine, but it must be the one that fixes on the dynastart.   The fan looks like this.   A Heinkel one will fit & work, but the blades are bigger on the Villiers.           Nick.

Hi Nick. Villiers services sold me a fan last year, it took them a while to find one but they eventually did and may have another, its worth asking. I fear the cowling may be harder to find. There was some talk about getting some cast.

Many thanks for the responses. I did contact Villiers Services and they said they will look. If Micro Marshall can find one in his shed that would help a great deal.              regards, Nick.

I am sure we have one because we had to get some replacements for the scooter car when the gear box broke. :o

Bearing in mind that my 9e came from your shed with a missing fan and we searched high and low for it I wouldnt hold out too much hope of finding a fan there.

Thanks for looking. A broken fan may be fixable. I also need the aluminium air ducting that directs the air over the cylinder & head.   Nick.

As much as i hate saying things cant be fixed the fan is in about 20 separate pieces. If you send me a pitcher of the part I will have a look for you. ;D
