I find I am holding Glass's Guides covering from 1956 up to 1985 for Cars - not motorcycles or trikes. I also hold Glass's Guides for Commercials covering 1964 to 1982.
Sadly the rather fine Daily Mail Motorcycling Guides of 1956 and 1957 that I found with them do not contain any chassis information.
Still there is a source of proof for car based microcars and lightcars there.
