So, bones, give us a TEENSY clue: W-Reg 1980, as in ABC 123W, or W-reg 2000, as in W123 ABC? (Twenty years makes a difference to some people!)

W =2000

That makes it an Ambro thingy, doesn't it?
They seem to ask lots of money for these cars. The market would seem to be one limited to those who are into them.
I tried one of that era in about 2005, not for me, and I got out with a pretty healthy margin. I entered with a trade in of very good condition, save damage to the bonnet, I believe I allowed £750 on a Fiat 850 van I could not sell. i wonder what the Fiat van would be worth now, very rare? I found a buyer who was looking for this type of Ligier, and consider myself lucky to have sold sweetly, at £1,950 after costs.
Good luck with implementing your plan.

Be wary. I bought a Microcar Virgo from Berrybrooks. It was lots of trouble and I lost a fortune. Also be aware that Ligier Ambras are commonly held to be the worst of the three makes, that is Microcar, Aixam, and Ligier. The only money to be made is likely to be by Berrybrooks.
