Just a thought I have the makings of a 2t Villiers I.e. Bottom casings , 2 fan housings , one fan of the two , crank with knackered bearings would anyone be interested in hearing more ?( Although still known as a 2t these twin fan engines have very little to do with the normal motorcycle 2t engines )

I was told today of a couple of Villiers 3T, with fans both sides, in never-used state (still with original packing corks in the plugholes. Likely to be available, but would need shipping, and I've no idea of how much is wanted).
Anyone interested, let me know (pm me with why you're interested and I'll tell you who to contact).

WOW !! form an orderly queue :)

Yep, good engines. David Knobs had a job lot and another lot were found still crated. Presumably Zeta stuff that never got cars to go in. Not sure who ended up with the left overs.

Were these used in some Frisky Sports?

Happen as like. There were 3T Friskys. The unit appeared in the Lightburn Zeta with a diff, though not in the Zeta Sport. Despite it's looking Frisky like. the LZS was pure Bedson, as John informs us. Yet the LZ car was developed out of the Jarc/Astra, which used Anzani/Excelsior type engines, which were later to appear in Friskys. So effectively you could say engine supplies swapped. Confusing 'innit? The 3T is the pick of those units, in my opinion.

Just an update from Dave Millers post regarding 3T engines available.
Steve of Brisbane bought a Lightburn Zeta saloon with a spare 3T engine. This was one of the Villiers packages sent to Lightburn and included the black control box, reversing ignition switch and instruction manuals. This engine still has the cork plugs, cardboard sleeves and inspection tags fitted. It is now on its way back to the Midlands from where it was made destined for my blue sport. Thank you Steve.
