Amazing how much people want for their old microcar items  :o

Wow. Well done Bob.

40 years ago I sold EME the blue P50, shown in my forum picture for £40. You know, the Top Gear car and daddy of all the copies now made. Seems over the years I've been selling my stuff too cheaply

But take heart in having had all this stuff when the world was not interested. You could afford to have it. Had the taste to have it. Rich and well off men buying stuff is an entirely different activity to trying to make those things work without spending very much money. I know which is the more fulfilling hobby. The problem with wealth is you can buy what you want. There is no meaning to the purchase like there is if you graft for it. That is why there are so many unhappy rich and wealthy people about. What they got for selling out, wasn't what they really wanted. Unless it is used to bully people, which seems awfully common, in both senses of the word. I prefer my micronauts awkward and eccentric, that normally controls the values they apply to things.

I see the book is still available as a print on demand if anyone's interested. I haven't seen this book, but having once worked in a bookshop, I would say it's price is not that expensive for a specialist technical work - especially if its any good.
