Just read this article. Bit about Tridents..
http://www.wbur.org/news/2007/68687_20070713.asp
I quote,
CHARLES GOULD: And they sold so poorly that thirty five of them were buried in a land fill in an insurance scam and they told the insurance company that they were stolen. So there's really only sixteen or seventeen that hit the marketplace so it's extremely rare and nobody's ever found the ones that were buried.
THIS IS IN MY OPINION A TOTAL MYTH. Nobody's ever mentioned 35 cars. How can you lose 35 cars in one sitting?
Hmm?

But then since when has the truth ever got in the way of a good story? ::)

Noted. But I've not heard this fable so 'sexed up' to use the modern parlance. 16 hit the marketplace! Oh behayve!!
Bunch of arse dear boy if you ask me.
