Puch Pick up

So, is this home made or a genuine production item?
It has a 2cv engine in the front.

Where did you find this?

it has a full Citroen 2CV chassis, suspension and engine. The only bit that may be Puch is the front bodywork, and even then that could be Fiat 500.

Looking at the property behind I would say it is in France, and therefore most likely to be a home build from bits. To my knowledge there was never any link between Citroen and Puch

I do like the front wing arches with the foot rests. I wonder what vehicle that came off?

Was in Limoge near Tony Marshall. Now up in Normandy. The shell is the interesting bit as it looks a bit good for home built. ;)

Steyr Puch? Why would they make a pick-up when they make the Haflinger. I favour Iron Curtain Fiat clone, made to master light deliveries. Why a 2CV under it? Its in France, so what else would you use. With Fiat flat engine this would be a rather funky flunky.

Not sure if I can identify the background as France , there is a similar field in Alsace Lloraine Chris . Interesting collection of mainly Disney stickers but also an Asterix one . Therefore I pin it down as an Alsatian owner . Can't follow Al , is it you or the vehicle that has moved from near Tony's  to Normandy ?

Alsace, Richard? Lord, no - the vernacular architecture, and the type of grass - and its calculable rate of growth - confirm much farther north.  It's Normandie, about an hour south of Caen.

(Anyway, that's what it says in the eBay listing!  ;D )
