I remember when Italian metals were advertising there newly produced steel replacement schmitt rear mudguard, it had no cut away pressed in the side making it impossible to fit to a schmitt, there reply to a complaint from a buyer was, we have sold hundreds of them and no one else has complained , or words to that effect!

So that's why they ended up getting sued then, they tried and sell this car a while ago but having a bad reputation doesn't bode well!

I also mentioned politely that the schmitt rear mudguard he sells is wrong. He said he's had them fitted by his mechanic on all his schmitts and sold loads with no complaints.

This is probably true as he does not accept complaints and has a no money back policy! He also does not accept normal business practice, the truth or originality but otherwise I cannot really see a reason not to deal with him save for the myriad of bad tales on the internet and elsewhere.  Yet he is still going so the adage there is one born every minute would seem to be true. I kept coming across him when searching Atti Bathanvalvy. A sad tale as I quite liked him.
