Replicar Cursor Brakes
« on: September 02, 2008, 09:25:59 PM »
Hi,
I have recently started restoring my dad's Replicar Cursor. I would like to know if anyone could tell me what brake cylinders were used. Also I was thinking of upgrading to a cp80 engine, does any body know where I can buy one from.
Thanks very much,
George.

Hi Georgie 4th. I dont own a Cursor but Inaheinkel does and I'm sure he will tell you what cylinders were used when he notices your question. I do however have experience of the cp80 , I upgraded a Bamby to this engine and would wholeheartedly recommend it. The engine mounting bolt holes will all line up and the extra power and CVT transmission will suit the car fare more than unit fitted by the makers. They are hard to find now as the scooter its self is getting quite old but well worth searching out. Regards, Bob

Hi George

Sorry, but I can't help with the info. on the brakes.

I sold the car on, to a chap in Wales who had owned one when he was in his teens.

Great looking car, I wish I had had the time and money to complete mine and get it on the road.

Good luck
