Mystery Microcar (blue)
« on: September 23, 2007, 11:20:25 pm »
got this mystery car photo today.
Anyone have a clue?
I do not have the answer!
I also am suspicious that the chassis does not belong with the body as it appears the chassis is a few inches too short (look at the rear wheel).
But I could be wrong about that.

Hi Jim, i am in complete agreement  the chassis does not belong with the body . The nose of the chassis looks a bit like a Rolux for me. Presumably im wrong, but this what i see in the photo.

That looks great, hope it gets sorted out and put on the road!

Cant figure that one out but its not a Rolux, they have seperate headlights and the wings are completely different shape. Looks very French though.

Do you have any more information? What country was it found in? Is it a metal body? Could it be a pre-war Boitel

The car is in Italy near the border with France.
The guy who took the photos has seen the car and says he is fairly certain that the chassis DOES go with the body!
Currently the body is just sitting on the chassis after having been removed, but he says it is just not lined up correctly.

He does not know what it is either.
