I used to have a copy of this book but gave it to a friend who bought a MK-I years ago and is now deceased.
Does anyone know which Scootacar Nel and Peter drove? Was it a MK-I or a MK-II ?
I can't imagine they crammed all that stuff into a MK-I

They drove a 58 Mk1, registration number 5472NW. The story went that it was sent back to England after the screen got broken but there is no evidence to support this. Research has found that it was never tax for road use in the UK after April 1959.
