Superb photo! Somewhere I have photos of my old band's guitarist - nearly 7ft (2130 mm) tall - sitting in my Velorex and Trojan looking over the top of the windscreen.

This is Kurt Nielsen a Danish Tennis Player getting into a Frisky Sport at Wimbledone in June 1958

The car WDA 167 was a "factory car" featured in several press releases at the time.

The photo is from 100 years of Motoring, published by Ammonitepress.com which also contains images of many other microcars including

nobel 200, bond mark E, Peel P50, and Peel Trident. The book is currently on offer in "the Works" sale at £5 instead of £15 and has loads of great photos from1904 onwards

If I've studied Amazon UK correctly, this book is avalible brand new from their marketplace traders for £6.40, & can be dispatched direct to Germany for a further £3.94 fixed rate postage.  See what you think Ferdi on the link below, or I could try sorting it out for you if easier....

The book 100 Years of Motoring is now available from RUMCAR BOOK SHOP (in association with Foyles) and should be advertised in the next edition of RUMCAR NEWS.  Jean
