My dad quickly told me it was on the dash, I was looking for it (steering bar was in the way, couldbnt see it!), and I slowly glided across the corner. I was at standstill qwhen I managed to put the indicator on. In the middle of the road.
As the old mantra for driving has it. 'Mirror, Signal, Manure'.
