Had a later Golli. I can recommend one for a different view on driving. Can be made to look very pretty and would be very rare here. Lots of film work I would think.

Any one got good reliable connections or is it all bad?

 In my experience, nothing but wasted weekends, no-shows, empty promices, waste of time. End of story.  Over the past six years I've been begged to lend a hand with invalid carriages for filming on four occasions. Each & every time it was all "Oh we'll be there at X-time on the dot to pick the car up. All it needs to be is clean & tidy, you just see it over to our man with the trailer, he'll give you the money, & it'll be back that night"  Each & EVERY time it was always the same; four in the afternoon & "Oh, it's you, we decided not to use the car, nah, we're not paying you never mind what I said yesterday."  I've had this from independent film crews, the BBC & Channel 4.  Now if ever I hear the opening "We're making a documentary/film/whatever & are looking for...." I just say "Not intrested, I've been messed around too much before by you film crews before".  They then always say "Oh, but we're different, we won't mess you around, we really really want to use this car"

 Yeah, and so said all the others.

Speaking about Germany and Netherlands, there are professional brokers, the car owner has nothing to worry about but 1/3 goes to the broker 1/3 for insurance, make-up etc and 1/3 for the owner. In the last 2 years 4 rentals - no problems but no big Euros either. The cars were Framo, Tempo and 2CV.

... though not quite as rare as the Goliath 3 wheeled car that came up 5 or so years ago, wish I'd kept a pic now.

Mine go through Nick Mason, Pink Floyd drummer, thanks to Mr Wang and his Ferrari collection and later nearly being run over by Nick in his, then, GTO. That is chance.

There are brokers but the key issue is to insist on insurance as they do damage the cars quite often and you cannot rely on the film company to be well funded. Much TV work is not by the institutions that broadcast anymore but private production outfits. Most see cars as props not as valuable artefacts. If you accompany the car you get more money and normally fed.
