Unfortuneately, it's not ours, the guy wants it restored. I can understand, because it was his fathers, and has nice history! I think the owner wanted it restored as original, in primrose yellow (car was badly brush painted red, many good places to find original unfaded yellow paint to colour match!)

I think if the bodyworks sound I'd keep the paintwork as it is, particulalry if the car has a nice history.

love the idea of an oily rag approach - but surely not when it has been treated to a paintbrush job !! unfortunately only one way to go now

I think if the bodyworks sound I'd keep the paintwork as it is, particulalry if the car has a nice history.

The right wing is VERY bad, the car was in an accident, has giant rust holes patched up with filler. Nose is full of filler, too.

Paintwork isn't badly painted on, the thing I don't like about the paint is that they painted everything, even a lot of the aluminium!

If I had it, I would remove all of the aluminium parts, remove the paint, brush paint the car yellow and build it back up!
