I dropped out of the mag for a bit it was all going too modern . great turn off for me absolutely NO interest to me at all . i regard cars of the 70's as modern  RUM's the word  ;)

You are missing out then Richard. I'm not interested in the modern stuff either but there have been some great article on cars of the golden age too, you must understand the mag has to cover everyone's taste to hang on to and enlarge the readership. We have to put up with the non interesting stuff , its the price we have to pay to keep the mag going and get the good stuff too. It grieves me every time we get invalid carriage stuff posted on the forum, I long for the day that Stuart starts an IC forum so I dont have to look at the stuff but its the price I have to pay for a great forum, peoples taste or lack of it varies enormously so we all have to be long suffering.

Dont worry Jim, if you create a separate section it will only encourage those that like creepy stuff all the more ;). I will endure  IC's on the microcar forum even though they are not microcars until we can persuade Stuart to create his own. Stuart branching out with his own magazine has been successfull so why not a forum too?   Now wait for the backlash!!

I am not particularly keen on ICs but accept that they are very close relatives of micros. A few are reasonable looking and interesting mechanically but generally I do not tke a lot of notice, but I certainly don't mind having them on the forum. Even if Stuart had his own forum we would still probably see a few posted here and I don't mind, in fact some, like Spinal Carriages and the Lamarr Car are so extraordinary that I am glad to have found out about them in RCN and this forum, and probably never would have. Anything I do not want to look at I just skip on to something I do.

Wasn't this the same Martin Stationette that surfaced on eBay and bought by the Lane museum a while back, I remember reading a couple of articles in a classic car mag at the time.
