The Ingatestone works was still in operation up till quite recently, and was run by a nephew of the original owner.  When I last made contact I was told he had a 'lorry' at the works which he hoped to restore at some stage.  It may well be worth a trip out Bob, its not too far from you.  Jean

That's the address Richard. thank you.  Alan is the guy I had conversations with sometime ago.  It would nice if your could make contact with him Bob on behalf of RUMCARS,tell him about the interest on the forum and may be stimulate his interest in restoring his 'lorry'.  It would make a great article for the magazine.   Jean

I once sold a pair of my drums to a brass band in Margaretting and Ingatestone. Must have passed close by Lamar when I delivered them.

Can someone please gather all the recent Larmar stuff under one thread and let Mike Hodgson know how to keep it that way.  Then if Bob manages to make contact with Alan Larcombe, Alan will only have one place to look on the Forum to see our interest in his 'lorry'.  Thanks a lot Jean
