micro's in the snow - No. 1 THE BRUETSCH 2. BOND
« on: January 18, 2013, 11:00:13 AM »
these pics taken way back i think in the mid/late 80's by Tony Marshall when he first FOUND the Bruetsch in Manchester , kept in a lock up the owner would not sell despite Tonys best efforts. I REFOUND it 10 years ago and by then the owner ( pictured )decided to part with it. On Tonys visit he photographed the car for posterity -  it had by then lost it,s hard top , front and side grills etc. but retained its original DKW 1000 back lights which were missing when i got it. The seats ,dash, back and front lights wiring etc. were also lost when the garage was set alight  . very luckily the car survived . it is the last one left after all . there will soon be other pics on my flikr photostream

Brilliant, thanks for sharing and thanks to Tony for tracking it down in the 80's. What is the purpose of the tilting windscreen?

the screen and surround are incorrect and now scrapped .the tilt used to be for the hardtop they are double ended hinges - bonnet/hardtop. supposedly 3 examples each were made of roadster and hardtop . mine's all thats left. i have a screen but no surround , i have been looking several YEARS for someone to make me a screen surround  :(
