I think it says something about, because of limited legroom it should only be used for short distances, then it bangs on about what engine it's powered by.

not many , 150 ?, hoffmans were built i think. the last photo showed the right hand opening door . this photo shows a left hand opening door - odd

that's because it moved from the left to the right.

Dear Richard

If you look at the pictures you will see that they are not the same car, They are different colours and the windscreen wiper is in a slightly different position.

The same number plate appears on all the publicity shots. There were several prototype cars each with a slightly different arrangement, left door, 2 doors, left hand drive and right hand drive. I think it was 4 prototype cars in all.

I would be interested in a Hoffman Delta. Something to get all in a flap over driving. Damn complicated ashtray lid.

An interesting pair of prototype cars, being as production of others was made to the loss of those pictured. However Dornier made some more vehicle experiments which are microcars.
