Absolutely great photo's . Stuart will love these ! so this is the direct ancestor of the Gordon then ? it must be . the only clue appears to be the tiller steering not used in the Gordon , which had normal car type controls - wheel pedals etc. this development was rejected by the ministry for having seating for two - against the brief . ministry approved invacars were to be allways single seat .
 thanks for the post grant

i apologise to those not interested in Gordons as this has turned out to be Gordon month - see separate post  :)

stuarts thing - but he's very quiet at moment and doesn't appear to have been on the site for ages so .... not sure but it seems to me to be the AC ( yes as in Cobra ) model 43 invalid carriage of 1951 - not sure if any survive  but 3000 were built some with steering wheels and some with tiller steering bar .

I have an AC Petite, but I hadn't seen these Gordonesque bulbous nosed cyclops before.

Fascinatingly devolved.
