I can, and for no reason, but I am not going to!

Nicking that name and the whole Mini 'firsts' farrago was such a ripoff it merits a full chapter of a book in itself. Of course it became very popular for big manufacturers to pinch smaller companies names with impunity. It is amusing that the modern Mini is really much more a Maxi but runs a mile from using the name. The Bond Minicar has at least claimed its step on the podium of motoring from the informed Classic Car world.
