When I bought my Peel back to life in '76 the interior spotted paintwork as used on the walls of public toilets was unobtainable. As the GRP was breaking down I brushed on two gel coats to stabilize it. As you can imagine the smell was something out of this world, as I was at the time! "Peace brother and all that"  ;D  When it was dry i didn't bother to wash with acetone or anything else as I can remember, just gave it two coats of Dulux gloss grey. I looked as if it stood the test of time, 36 years, when it came up for sale at Coy's auction last year.
Ain't got nuffink now except memories.

Did you also coat the inside of your Tourette with some resin? I ask because when I went to see it at Waynes place the inside of the shell looked much more stable and solid than Jeans one.

Looked at some of my old photos to check and can see that I must have done by the inner shiny surface of the rear engine compartment.
