Notice the difference between the two windscreen shapes, one is very VW and the other more rectangular. Not unusual with hand built short runs cars.

It's surprising how much difference the windscreen makes to the car's looks; the red car looks much better in my opinion.

I agree, the red one does look better. As Richard suggested its a subject close to my heart at the moment having windscreen problems with my project car. I may loosely copy the Kroboth frame.

For some reason I always get the Kroboth confused with the Felber, don't know why, as you can see as they are not that similar.

Here are a couple more. Green one is at the Museum Engstingen in Germany.  Red one is the only one I have seen running and driving, it is in Switzerland.
Note the pic of the red one with the top up. It matches the green one in the museum, compare this to the ex-Weiner car, look at all the extra metal above the windscreen and how the top is fitted.
I know that car was rebuilt from a pile of scrap, so which one would be "correct"?  Given the look of the white one, perhaps all of them are correct?

Thanks for these photo's Jim!
When I saw the red one with the extra band of steel around the top I did wonder if the makers had cut a screen and surround straight out of a donor Beetle, tin opener style and adapted it to the car.  And why not!
I'm with you there Jim, they are probably ALL right.
I wonder if the bonnet hump serves any purpose?
