Squeak and I went on Wednesday and it is a FANTASTIC exhibition, with a fine collection of his mechanical "Things", some superb drawings, paintings, cards, models and Punch cartoons, and videos of him at work and of the incredible "Oystercreek and Far Tottering Railway" which he designed for the Festival of Britain.
His pen and ink drawings and italic script/calligraphy are exquisite, and many feature trains, cars, planes, boats and other mechanical devices. Admission is only £5 and worth every penny. On until 21st sept at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !
