An apology for those of you who may have tried the Frisky Website recently, the menus had gone all winky wonkey (as you can tell I'm very technical!)

 It has now been fixed by Mr Site who tell me it was a tech glitch!!

Whatever it was its gone and you can now get at the new "stuff" i am putting on it such as the Petbow photos under the History menu.

Did you see Malcolm Dudleys prototype Friskyport at the NEC, hasn't he made a superb job of it.

What were the issues with the strut front suspension on the mark one family three?

Looked a good design.

The strut was designed to pivot at the top but can not in the way it is installed in the F3 Mk1.
It goes up and down for a couple of times then bend and stays down. Most F3's have flexible patches of body work above the wheel arch were owners have tried to bounce it up and down to free it,  it don't work!!!

It is relatively easy to fix with another unit.  Don't try to re invent the wheel, instructions are available from the Frisky Register

The Triumph Herald and the Reliant Scimiter SS1

it didn't seem right to me chris so off to wiki - we are talking 1957 and Triumph Herald is 1959 and Scimitar SS1 is 1984 !!
 
wiki has Michelotti 1957 as -Abarth 750 Coupe Goccia - built by Vignale
Also Ghia-Aigle FIAT 1100 the drawings of the former are very similar to the first Frisky designs

I completely misunderstood the question. I thought you said what cars designed by Michelotti were at the Classic Car motor show at the NEC in 2014

I completely missed the reference to 1957. What a foolish person I am. Telepathy was one of the O levels I failed at school.

yes chris you are a VERY silly boy . this was/is a "Frisky site" topic and not a topic related to the 2014 show ,you see the clue is in the title  if you had followed the thread you would have visited the site , and the 1957 prototype link , and all would have been chrystal  .....
